New UK Showreel

The British Film Commission (BFC) is proud to launch its first showreel highlighting the best of the UK’s production industries – including such prestigious and instantly recognisable film and television as Game of Thrones and Harry Potter.
Now available to view online, the reel highlights the nation’s excellent production industries: award-winning cast, range of show stopping locations, state-of-the-art facilities and world-class crew and VFX talent.
Viewers of the reel can see an exciting and high-calibre array of recent film and television which have shot throughout the UK, ranging from box office hit Fast & Furious 6 and the upcoming Kick-Ass 2 to Benedict Cumberbatch’s Sherlock and the award-winning Downton Abbey.
At just over three minutes, viewers are taken on an epic UK adventure: Brad Pitt escaping zombies in Scotland with World War Z, Daniel Craig’s Bond running through London’s bustling metropolis in Skyfall, the complex and intriguing Game of Thrones universe of Northern Ireland, Steven Spielberg’s striking interpretation of England’s rolling countryside in War Horse and the lush valleys of Wales in the US’s latest TV export Da Vinci’s Demons.
